Orange Maroc has announced a major step in strengthening its network infrastructure. The telecom operator revealed a strategic agreement with Ericsson to modernize and expand its core network.
This partnership supports Orange Maroc’s commitment to providing high-performance connectivity. It also aligns with the national strategy “Digital Morocco 2030,” which aims to advance the country’s digital transformation.
As part of the collaboration, Orange Maroc will integrate Ericsson’s dual-mode 5G Core and Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution. These advanced technologies are designed to support cloud-native 5G applications.
The modernization will increase network capacity and improve the customer experience. It also enables Orange Maroc to build a scalable network in preparation for 5G deployment.
Orange Maroc will also implement the Ericsson Cloud Core Policy Controller. This solution will offer high scalability and network resilience, while supporting new business models.
